The lyric line and melody for the chorus to this song came to me in a dream back in the fall of 1987. Yes I know, it is indeed very reminiscent of Beethoven's 9th. I recorded a demo that week.

Several years later I recorded a much finer version as the A-side to The Shop’s 45 rpm single called SONGS OF RECOVERY (From Anything or Anyone) on screaming yellow vinyl.

{NOTE: The original SHOP performed this song frequently back in the 1990's and in fact recorded their version of it on their CD HOTTER THAN THE DICKENS Volume One. And, their 45 rpm single boasts the first recorded version -- both which are available here on this band-camp profile. Why not purchase them me asks?}
