BLUE ICE 01:42
I cried blue ice and... melting under glass... sink's full While my life stood still beneath the window sill. And when the wind, the weather cleared, I was neither here nor there Yes and when the lights came back on they nearly burned me out but I didn't care Because I threw up the world and what a mess that was This seemed to mean a great deal to me And when the wind, the clouds rolled back, I couldn't hear a thing Yes and what I saw wasn't worth repeating ... and this is where the bagpipe section comes in (etc) I was feeling reasonably reasonable As if I'd grown up on this side of the world I cried blue ice and... SEA ANEMONE 04:24
It's just under the moon beams swinging looking for seashells, following every lead When I first laid my smoky eyes on you it was a flick of the lid-blink-wink of an eye -- waiting ... Wading thru I was coming home with Heaven at my feet In this innocence of 'newness' wondering if we'd meet Someone – something – coaxing – calling me Things like this won't usually happen in a lifetime Often strike it rich – stick the salty finger in – making sure that it's in Angels in the snow – Fly away fly Castles in the sand – Wash away Pictures in the air blow away blow Making eyes with you – shy, shy, shy away Poking fun at you today I'm combing up the water's edge Feel you drowning underneath me Blind to all I reach inside you (Moving quietly / shy away) Feed upon the life I give Glistening lime wet and shiny Rippled swaying to & fro Pull me in where I would love to understand your need to know Listen very closely to the beating of my heart's inside you Swallowing the ocean thirsty Sea Anemone and me Ride the waves in rhythm rounding out these gentle melodies Sea Anemone (2x) She eats me Sea Anemone-mone-mone-mone-mone-mone ... Gazing up as far (as the eyes can) seeing stars by the handful Lightening weeps through ours as we cup them up and bathe Pooling sheets of rain overhead in tears of overjoy Sparkling up & through – burns clear -- we understand Glimpse the lashing view as we field ourselves along this way You and I make do – Flaming cool primary blue Twinkling waterfall of stars shooting down, away-ving (waving on...) Gazing up as far (as the eyes can) seeing stars by the handful Lightening weeps through ours as we cup them up and bathe Stand frozen in place – slowly we begin to breath again Words cannot explain – gone blind but we feel no pain Twinkling waterfall of stars shooting down, away-ving (waving on...) Showering, shimmering, towering on We slip upside in tumblin’ All is falling down Over and over we rise Twinkling waterfall of stars shooting down, away-ving (waving on...) God works in many ways (8x) God works in men, and women, and children We try our best to do our best that when we're done it works It works in many ways (8x) The sun comes up The sun goes down And through the night it comes around We rise to wake our spending days We work in many ways (8x) We work and play! In us God trusts to see thee through We separate what’s false from true God works in many ways (4x) It works in many ways (4x) We work in many ways (4x) (c) 1987 Bond Voyage Music (BMI)

He spoke with the Queen She told him every everything Now he can say he’s seen He can say he’s seen The Queen of Queens Which octave are you on? What state is that you’re in? What tune is that you’re singin'? You’ve come to save my soul to cleanse me of my sins You’ve given me the keys to The Queendom And for as long as I’m this way I’ll pray to you each day He spoke with the Queen She told him every everything Now he can say he’s seen He can say he’s seen The Queen of Queens She's the Queen - the Queen of Queens - she's the Queen of Queens I’d kill for you - I would I’ll kill for you - I will! I’d sell my soul for just one piece of your halo I’m yours at your beck & call I make my plea to Thee You’ve given me the keys to The Queendom And for as long as I’m this way I’ll pray to you each day She's the Queen of Queens (2x) She with a capitol "S" - Aw heck, She's Goddess Hope I left a good impression on her... She knows everything - She can do anything! My eyes have seen the glory and so ends my story (c) 1993 Bond Voyage Music (BMI)

SEA ANEMONE 04:14

about

In 2014 I had just finished producing/screening my 1st family friendly film "GROWING GRAPES FOR THE FUTURE", a story based on the idea that one could predict the future by 'reading' the wrinkling-crinkling-sinking lines of a dried grape. A raisin. By that summer I was well into my next film "AQUA LUNG SECRET – The Duplo Project".

OK. It just so happened that one of the double agent characters in this new film was Zillion The Clown, a personality modeled after my 1990’s stage persona Larynx Zillion. I gradually became sidetracked.

I then began digitizing “live” video footage from LARYNX ZILLION'S NOVELTY SHOP’s 1990’s archives as well as two full CD’s worth of unreleased material; "HOTTER THAN THE DICKENS Volumes 1 & 2". {NOTE: this mammoth body of recorded work features such local luminaries as Chris Casello (a.k.a. Buzz Amerika) on guitar and backing vocals, Chris Smith (a.k.a Hubba Chubba Bubba) on trombone, and David Swain (a.k.a. Chip Reed) on bass and baritone sax.}

Long story short ~

I dropped my new screen play in 2015 to then form this millennium’s incarnation of LARYNX ZILLIONS NOVELTY SHOP.

Stylistically speaking, THE SHOP has always been a bit of a dilemma ever since the beginning of its inception (1985). The music is about as eclectic as it gets, making it very difficult to market and develop a cohesive fan base on any level.

My original plan here was to record a full length CD with this new band. But, THE SHOP was quickly going out of business as we scrambled to do our best and complete 6 of the studio tracks we started, plus master the 3 “live” cuts we had performed over cable television.

This new release features such talented local luminaries as William Bennett (a.k.a. Willy the Barber) on keyboards, Tim Nagae (a.k.a. Katsumi Zoomie) on bass, Elizabeth Royce (a.k.a. Voxxy Soxx) on harmony & backing vocals, and my own bad self (a.k.a. Larynx Zillion) singing lead vocal, electric & acoustic guitars, drums, and extra keyboards. Oh, and don’t forget Ginger the Giraffe as our stage mascot...

P.S. We actually had a very talented young drummer named El Macaso (a.k.a. Drew Woodcock) who performed with us for a good bit. But, he soon gave his two week notice due to employment scheduling conflicts. That was, sadly, the beginning of the end. THE SHOP was soon out of business altogether…
